In order for the new safeguards to be implemented, WRT email users must access their email program and make a few minor setting changes.

(This is for westriv.com accounts only. If you are using an email address ending with something other than @westriv.com, you do not have to make these changes.)

WRT has developed Step-by-step instructions to assist you.
The setting changes will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

You will need to OPEN your email program and first verify the name/version of your email program.
(examples include Outlook Express, Outlook, etc)

To verify the name/version:

1. You must first OPEN your email program.
2. Then CLICK on HELP in the toolbar at the top of your screen.
3. Scroll down to “About Microsoft Office Outlook” and Click to OPEN.
4. You will then see the name and version of your email program on the top line.
5. Click OK to close the box.

(If you are using Thunderbird Mail for your email program, you do not have to make any changes)
