Outlook
2002/2003 for SMTP Authentication
- Open Outlook.
- Click on
the Tools menu located at the top of the screen, scroll
down & choose E-mail Accounts.
- Under the
E-Mail heading, make sure the View or change
existing e-mail accounts button is selected.
- Click the
Next button.
- Choose
the email account you want to configure SMTP authentication for from
the list. All westriv.com email accounts will need to be configured
to SMTP authentication.
- Click the
Change button.
- Click the
More Settings button located on the bottom right of
your screen.
- Click on
the Outgoing Server tab on the top of your screen.
- Check the
box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication,
if it is not already checked.
- Click the
OK button.
- Click the
Next button.
- Click
the Finish button.
